Be Well on this Wednesday...

Happy Wednesday, I wish you all Wellness!

I am attempting to feel well - unfortunately each time the season changes, i get a pretty severe sinus infection, and sometimes just sick in general. Generally speaking it has been A LOT worse, so my healthy habits over the past few months must've contributed in a beneficial manner.

I need to start running again...I NEED TO! I haven't worked out in two weeks, not since before we moved, I just have so little time! I'm going to go for a nice long bike ride or nice long run today, and really just wear my body out. I have a nice quick dinner plan for Jeremy and myself, and it shouldn't take long which means i can dedicate more time to having a great work-out, and sitting in my backyard dreaming of the days i will be sitting there with my future doberman pinscher puppy :o)
That's Right! we finally settled on a dog breed that will satisfy both of us. We had previously settled on getting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but when i realized that there is no way into the house without doing at least four stairs, my heart sank, i knew i couldn't do that to the poor little corgi, long dogs + stairs = not so great. But its alright, because I've been doing extensive research about dobermans, and extensive research about dogs in general and I think that the doby will be a great fit in our home.
The Doberman possesses all the qualities i really am looking for in a future companion. He will be extra nice to have around in the winter when Jeremy is at school late and it gets dark earlier. We are currently looking to hopefully rescue one that was mistreated, or puppies of a mistreated mother that need saving...if you hear anything, please, let me know!

Alsoooo,
I've done it! I have become a tea-aholic! This is something I'm thrilled about. I have been drinking tea like a mad woman! Its great it really just is! Green Tea, Peach Tea, Pomegranate Tea, PMS tea, you name it! I even brought a small box of tea to work, so that i can enjoy it here too!
I also, am quite proud to say, i have not skipped breakfast as a meal in over 4 weeks! We've even started having (my one very unhealthy day of the week) large breakfasts at our house on Sundays, complete with anything anyone could ever want for breakfast. We are so hardcore we boil salt potatoes the night before in preparation!

Thissssss Sunday! - we will be in VA visiting my brother and watching the Hokies Game! I'm absolutely thrilled we are going to get to see our college football team, I'm even MORE excited to see my little brother, with him being 10 hours away for over 10 months out of the year, it can be understood as to why this is. We will be engulfed in the excitement of the game, and tailgating (beecause my little brother is finnnnally 21!) and over all enjoyment of Saturday, followed by a large breakfast Sunday, and a departure. It will be a quick short fun-packed visit, but a great one nonetheless. GO VT! (and gooooo Little B!)

So, just a quick note, we are so happy in our new home, it fits us perfectly, as in, if the landlord would sell it to us tomorrow, we would buy it. I love it, we have great neighbors, and great large amounts of space...and still...NO CABLE! it's fantastic. I did see the Buffalo Bills game though at my parents house, and that's all i plan to mention about that.

we are still poor, and we are still happy. So happy in fact that i made an apple pie (and i never bake! :o)

I am loving what the Aloe is doing for my system, I'm having less of a difficult time digesting things, and I am attempting to avoid lactose at all cost. This means no milk, no cheese, it just hurts too much to ingest it. It's a catch 22 too, if i ingest it, it hurts, and the less i ingest the more it hurts when i do ingest it.

I just said ingest a lot. anyways, fuck dairy.

So, Aloe, Green Tea Extract, lots and lots of water - but not while i eat.
You're not really supposed to drink while you eat, it messes with digestion, dilutes your stomach acids causing digestion to take longer, and be tougher on your body zapping us of our energy! What a mess that can cause.

So watch out for drinking while you eat, it is better served for after eating, or well before eating.

The Grey-sunny clouds in the sky are making me smile, they're so close to the ground here it looks like it could be November outside my large work-window. I love this because it means that fall is here with us now, and i want to soak up every minute of fall there is! i think I'll even eat my lunch outside today :o)

Lunch is celery and carrot sticks coupled with deeeelicious organic peanut butter. a large honey crisp apple, and some delicious romaine heart greens with diced tomatoes and corn on top with a little sea salt, honey and veganaise dressing I am all smiles. My raw cashew snack this morning has definitely helped maintain a steady blood sugar level for myself.

I can't wait to be working on the business Jeremy and I will be starting...i just need a little nudge in the right direction and I'm all about it....this is going to be great!

Alright loves, Eat some celery, and hey, try a shot of aloe! see what you think (but have a chaser of Oj, or Water, or something...its a little rough at first.)

Lots of loving peaceful vibes to everyone!
happy wellness Wednesday!

It's been a while, and for that I apologize

Blogging is therapeutic for me. My life has erupted in complete chaos for the passed few weeks.
The passing of a dear friend of mine got me thinking about my own life, and how much I'll miss her. She and I identified in so many ways, in so many anxieties, and in our love for lists, and lists about making lists. I've lost all desire to fly in a hot air balloon....

Also:
on a less than sad note, we finally moved. For about a week my life was in boxes that trickled all the way down oxford street, down Monroe Ave, and onto Laburnam, where they found rest eventually. After a week of chaos, packing, and a lot of un-packing, and starting school I finally found a moment or two at work to post this blog. It's been a while, we've decided not to get cable - best. idea. ever. I am so happy, we don't even have a digital converter box! It's amazing, except that when Football season comes we really ought to have one, on account of my absolute love for the sport!
Anyways, I've found myself being more productive, playing games like rummikub, and really identifying and bonding with Jeremy over these past few days. We spent 17 hours painting, until Jeremy himself reached complete delirium, and i demanded that he quit painting and we then proceeded to get four hours of sleep before rising and venturing to get the Uhaul with jimmy, who was up just as late as us painting his bed room, with Chalkboard paint, and yes, its absolutely awesome. Anyways, we got the Uhaul, and some coffee/tea, and then ventured back to begin the insane process.
We of course had lots of help moving, and to those that helped, thank you from the bottom of my heart, we owe you all in great amounts. As it stands now, the Parlor has a few boxes left in it to be unpacked, our bedroom, the office, and Jim's room still have yet to be un packed. The kitchen, Bathroom, and Living room however, are almost entirely set. We have only one couch...but we have a kitchen table! Which is where we enjoyed our first meatless Monday! in this home. :-)
All smiles, and though we are pretty poor, and it's not healthy at all, our first home-cooked meal was Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese, and it was meatless, and delicious, and pretty much all we could scrounge up. But we smiled and laughed at the kitchen table while we listened to the blues. Tuesdays Dinner was far more complex, We have broken down the cooking days, I cook for Jeremy on Mondays and Wednesdays, and he cooks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then we cook together for the weekends :-) So last night, as i arrived home from my long day at Buff State, thoroughly having enjoyed my 1.5 hours of alone time in the car, i sat down at my kitchen table to veggies in a peanut Thai sauce over rice, DELICIOUS! I suggest everyone who isn't allergic to peanut butter try a peanut Thai sauce, they're easy enough to make, and deeeelish!

I also did a small experiment with myself, and I have decided that I have definitely noticed changes in my body, and its ability to perform certain tasks it has become obvious to me after reading some of my new issues of the vegetarian times! :) and i tried it, I ate processed junk food, and i felt my body feeling sluggish, and sleepy and that's when i realized, I'm done with junk...I'm just done with it!

I also have some digestion issues, and have recently decided to take up drinking aloe. I drink a hefty amount of water a day to help my digestion issues, but Aloe is really supposed to get things moving, so i plan to start this very very soon. lemon in your water, Just do it! Lemons and Limes are so important to have on hand at all times, Jeremy and I always have Lemons and Limes, and if we don't i ride my bike to the store to get them! That's also my new thing, I don't want to drive my car unless i have to. Our new place is close to plenty of awesome things too. Its also beginning to be fall, and its September, and my favorite time of year!

This are looking chaotic now, and we are dirt poor, but happy. That's whats important.

Anyways, sending out lots of good loving vibes to everyone, and trying to learn patience.
thanks for listening, now go get some lemons!

Until Next Time!
