Blogging is therapeutic for me. My life has erupted in complete chaos for the passed few weeks.
The passing of a dear friend of mine got me thinking about my own life, and how much I'll miss her. She and I identified in so many ways, in so many anxieties, and in our love for lists, and lists about making lists. I've lost all desire to fly in a hot air balloon....
Also:
on a less than sad note, we finally moved. For about a week my life was in boxes that trickled all the way down oxford street, down Monroe Ave, and onto Laburnam, where they found rest eventually. After a week of chaos, packing, and a lot of un-packing, and starting school I finally found a moment or two at work to post this blog. It's been a while, we've decided not to get cable - best. idea. ever. I am so happy, we don't even have a digital converter box! It's amazing, except that when Football season comes we really ought to have one, on account of my absolute love for the sport!
Anyways, I've found myself being more productive, playing games like rummikub, and really identifying and bonding with Jeremy over these past few days. We spent 17 hours painting, until Jeremy himself reached complete delirium, and i demanded that he quit painting and we then proceeded to get four hours of sleep before rising and venturing to get the Uhaul with jimmy, who was up just as late as us painting his bed room, with Chalkboard paint, and yes, its absolutely awesome. Anyways, we got the Uhaul, and some coffee/tea, and then ventured back to begin the insane process.
We of course had lots of help moving, and to those that helped, thank you from the bottom of my heart, we owe you all in great amounts. As it stands now, the Parlor has a few boxes left in it to be unpacked, our bedroom, the office, and Jim's room still have yet to be un packed. The kitchen, Bathroom, and Living room however, are almost entirely set. We have only one couch...but we have a kitchen table! Which is where we enjoyed our first meatless Monday! in this home. :-)
All smiles, and though we are pretty poor, and it's not healthy at all, our first home-cooked meal was Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese, and it was meatless, and delicious, and pretty much all we could scrounge up. But we smiled and laughed at the kitchen table while we listened to the blues. Tuesdays Dinner was far more complex, We have broken down the cooking days, I cook for Jeremy on Mondays and Wednesdays, and he cooks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then we cook together for the weekends :-) So last night, as i arrived home from my long day at Buff State, thoroughly having enjoyed my 1.5 hours of alone time in the car, i sat down at my kitchen table to veggies in a peanut Thai sauce over rice, DELICIOUS! I suggest everyone who isn't allergic to peanut butter try a peanut Thai sauce, they're easy enough to make, and deeeelish!
I also did a small experiment with myself, and I have decided that I have definitely noticed changes in my body, and its ability to perform certain tasks it has become obvious to me after reading some of my new issues of the vegetarian times! :) and i tried it, I ate processed junk food, and i felt my body feeling sluggish, and sleepy and that's when i realized, I'm done with junk...I'm just done with it!
I also have some digestion issues, and have recently decided to take up drinking aloe. I drink a hefty amount of water a day to help my digestion issues, but Aloe is really supposed to get things moving, so i plan to start this very very soon. lemon in your water, Just do it! Lemons and Limes are so important to have on hand at all times, Jeremy and I always have Lemons and Limes, and if we don't i ride my bike to the store to get them! That's also my new thing, I don't want to drive my car unless i have to. Our new place is close to plenty of awesome things too. Its also beginning to be fall, and its September, and my favorite time of year!
This are looking chaotic now, and we are dirt poor, but happy. That's whats important.
Anyways, sending out lots of good loving vibes to everyone, and trying to learn patience.
thanks for listening, now go get some lemons!
Until Next Time!
